I understand that most businesses have about 500 balls in the air and only two hands to catch them, so I aim to be as flexible and accommodating as I can. You can expect me to deliver on my promises and timeframes, and I'll do my utmost to make sure you have a great experience working with me.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We Chat, I Quote

Once I understand what you’re looking for I’ll go away and put together a quote either based on my hourly rate or a project price – we’ll agree on the pricing approach together first.

As you’d imagine, start and completion times vary depending on how much I have on. I’ll always be honest with you about this so there are no surprises.
We Commit

Once you’re happy with the price and timeframe we’ll jump right on in.

I’ll ask for 50% of the fee upfront and will send you my standard T&Cs. Once payment has been received I’ll lock you into my schedule.
We Get on the Same Page

Then I’ll send you a project brief to fill in that will answer some key questions for me about your business and job expectations etc.

I know, I know it sounds like homework! But it’s vital in making sure that we’re on the same page, have a great working relationship and that you walk away happy saying “that Amy, she’s a pretty good egg”.
We Might Chat Again

If we need to chat again during the job I like to arrange it over the phone or skype. I’m happy to travel within Auckland if you’d like a face-to-face, but I do try to limit those meetings as it saves you money and me time.
You Review Draft Content

Once the draft content is ready for you to review I’ll always send it through in a word document and I ask that you track changes or highlight them in some way so that we have a running record.

If it’s a brochure or something graphic that we’re doing then I’ll ask you to mark up a pdf instead.

The quoted price includes two rounds of changes (edits not full rewrites) so it’s important that you take the time read and review everything carefully – any changes after this point are charged at an hourly rate.
You’re Happy

Once I’ve created some killer content that you love, I’ll ask you to sign off on it (not in blood, but I do ask for it in writing).
We Deliver

I’ll then deliver the final body of work to you and will send an invoice for the remaining 50% of the payment (due within 7 days).
