Venture Developments

Baby Staff Meeting

The Concept

The idea was simple:

What if the children designed the home?

They debate the important stuff:

  • Taps that spit out chocolate?
  • Why not a parking space for a dinosaur?
  • Or a waterslide at every house?

By making the children the champion of the video we create delight.

Creative Direction

The tone needed to feel natural and unscripted.

We avoided overacting and leaned into:

  • Genuine reactions
  • Subtle adult narration
  • Clean, modern meeting-room visuals
  • A contrast between “serious boardroom” and very unserious board members

The result is a video that feels authentic, slightly chaotic and genuinely funny.

Production Approach

To keep it feeling real, the production was intentionally simple.

  • Minimal crew presence
  • Natural lighting where possible
  • Real meeting-room setup
  • Light structure, not heavy scripting

The humour comes from the contrast, not from forcing lines.

The Outcome

The finished piece does more than get a laugh. It had an organic reach of over 60,000 views and was repurposed as a branding ad.

It positions Venture Developments as:

  • Thoughtful about real families
  • Design-led but human
  • Confident enough to not take themselves too seriously
  • Willing to communicate differently

It’s memorable. It’s shareable. And most importantly, it reinforces the idea that great homes are built for communities.
